Trunk training

Nanjing Jiangsu Zhongshan Elderly Rehabilitation Hospital, patient with spinal cord injury, segment T8, ASIA grade A. The patient was trained through REX. REX helps patients perform trunk training such as throwing balls and forward bending in standing and squatting positions to improve core control and trunk balance. It can also perform dumbbell lifting exercises to enhance upper limb muscle strength. Five times a week, each session lasting 30-40 minutes, for a total of four weeks of training. The patient has a sitting balance of level 2 and is able to travel independently using a wheelchair.
